One row per job. Mark one as your primary role — its tax code sets the personal allowance used for your self-employed & other income too. Prefix a tax code with "S" (e.g. S1257L) for Scottish income tax bands.
Enter gross self-employed income here; deduct expenses separately below. Feeds the automatic pot calculations on the Salary Sort tab.
Pooled across all self-employed income and treated as fully tax-deductible against total self-employed profit. Rows marked Account: Business feed the automatic pot calculations on the Salary Sort tab.
E.g. rental income, dividends, freelance one-offs not covered above.
All figures below are monthly (annual ÷ 12), for sorting money into pots each time you're paid. Pulled from Self-Employed Income & Expenses rows marked Account: Business on the Tax Calculator tab. Income Tax and Student Loan are each business self-employment's marginal share of your combined annual bill (i.e. what that income adds on top of everything else); National Insurance (Class 4) is worked out on business profit alone. Figures update automatically as you change inputs.
Sort your monthly income into pots by account. Business pots for Income Tax, National Insurance and Student Loan are calculated automatically from the monthly summary above; Expenses and all Personal/Joint pots are entered manually as monthly amounts. Use the Transfer category to move money from one account to another — pick where it's going with the Destination field that appears.
Used to work out how Joint Bills should be split between you and them, proportional to monthly net income. Your side of the ratio is your Personal account's monthly net income (Employed net pay + Personal Income sorts + transfers in).
Define the full monthly amount of each shared bill here. Pick one from a Personal sort using the Joint Bills category to see and use your proportional share.
Pulls a single cell's value from a publicly viewable Google Sheet (share it as "Anyone with the link → Viewer"). When set, it's used as the starting balance for Estimated End of Month Budget instead of Float. Refreshes automatically whenever you open this tab.
Estimates your account balance at the end of the month, before next salary lands, based on what you start the month with and how much you plan to spend per day. Float can't go below the Summary tab's Spending Money — it's assumed to already include that balance, plus anything extra you're carrying over. Estimated Spend Period picks whether daily spend is multiplied by the days remaining in the current month or the full length of next month.
Money already earmarked for something else (e.g. a planned purchase or a transfer out), deducted from the estimated end-of-month balance above to give what's actually left over.

A home screen icon has its own storage, separate from Safari — after installing it, open the icon and paste your snapshot link here once. It'll be remembered on this device from then on.
Anyone with this link can load this snapshot, and it stays in sync on every Save. Refreshes every 30 days of activity.
Link two saved snapshots — the primary one defines the Joint Bills list on the Joint Bills Setup tab; the partner's net monthly income is pulled in automatically. Switch which one is shown in Summary, Tax Calculator and Salary Sort at any time.
